User responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Privacy and data

Your use of Balanse is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining your privacy. If you use Google Sign-In, we comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policies and only access your basic profile information.

Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Balanse and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

What we don't allow

  • Attempting to reverse-engineer or manipulate the AI in abusive ways

  • Treating the AI as if it's a real person for abusive behavior
  • Misusing Google OAuth or attempting to access unauthorized Google services

Security Practices

Supabase RLS: Row-level security to ensure users only access their own data

Google OAuth compliance: Secure authentication with limited profile access only

Token storage: All authentication tokens encrypted and securely stored

GPT API use: API data is never used for training per OpenAI's current policies

Auto-deletion: User can request full data deletion (GDPR-style compliance)
